David P. Murphy Ph.Z. (he obtained his Ph.Z. from the prestigious Port-Au-Prince Capon Academy) is the author and host of the brand new Zombies for Zombies -- The Play & Werk Buk, his second book in the Z4Z line of fine literary products. The Play & Werk Buk is like a companion piece to his first book---Zombies for Zombies: Advice and Etiquette for the Living Dead---or would be if zombies had companions.
He is also a songwriter and producer of two CDs, Shining in a Temporary Sun and Henry Perry's Effortless. He is currently finishing producing Camille Metoyer Moten's holiday CD, A Simpler Christmas, due out in Nov. of 2010. His next solo album, Watching the Little Planes Land, will be released in 2011.
He has been playing piano since he was a kid and is still trying to get it right.
Mr. Murphy currently resides in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska with his unusually large cat, Beany.
He has recently completed his newest musical, anotherwhere.
